We are living in a profound season of transition, where many are sensing a call to return to the simplest, most fundamental roots of faith. At House of Brode, we are stepping into what we call the "Decentralized Church"—a structure that honors the direct, intimate connection every living soul has with the Creator.
Rather than relying on a centralized building or a single hierarchical institution to guide our spiritual lives, a decentralized approach empowers every household to function as an independent, self-governing assembly. We are not opposing the existing ecclesiastical structures that have served many faithfully for centuries; rather, we are simply being led in a different direction—a peaceful, peer-to-peer approach to faith and community.
The Parallel of Decentralization
We can see a beautiful parallel to this new direction in the way technology has evolved, particularly in the financial sector. Over the last decade, decentralized currencies emerged to offer an alternative peer-to-peer network. In this system, there isn't one central institution holding all the authority; instead, every node in the network is autonomous and equally responsible. Trust is distributed, and the system is strengthened by the participation of many independent contributors.
In much the same way, the decentralized church operates as a peer-to-peer spiritual network.
The Original Kingdom Blueprint
Scripture tells us in the Book of Genesis that the Creator intended to establish a Kingdom—a divine government where every citizen is a royal ambassador.
The Microchurch as the Independent Node
When we look at the structure we are building at House of Brode, it functions beautifully as a decentralized spiritual network. In our assembly, every home is an independent "node"—an autonomous embassy of the Kingdom. Your connection to the Creator is direct, peer-to-peer, and deeply personal. Just as a decentralized network is strengthened by having thousands of independent nodes preserving the truth, the Kingdom of God flourishes when thousands of self-governing households lovingly take responsibility for their own spiritual growth.
A Peaceful Return to the Blueprint
Traditional structures naturally consolidate leadership under one roof, creating large congregations that gather to receive a unified message. A decentralized microchurch, however, joyfully distributes that responsibility, encouraging active ambassadors to cultivate the Kingdom at their own dinner tables, in their own living rooms, and within their own neighborhoods.
We are walking a peaceful path toward a simpler blueprint. It is a deeply empowering realization that you are fully equipped by the Spirit to establish your household as an embassy of the Most High. The future we are building is a decentralized network of living souls, operating in total peer-to-peer unity, bound together by love and the direct authority of the King.
